Our dedication to automation

At RAMLAB, we believe automation is essential for saving time and cutting costs. From automatic toolpath generation to seamless certification reporting, our dedication to streamlining the advanced repair and manufacturing processes is evident at every stage. A standout example is MaxQ Repair, our end-to-end automated solution for metal part repairs. This system autonomously scans worn and damaged components, generates precise toolpaths for the welding torch, prints, cools, and restarts—all while continuously recording production data to simplify reporting and certification.

Material knowledge is at our core

With years of experience, numerous projects and publications, and extensive material testing, we have developed deep expertise in advanced repair and manufacturing, as well as their impact on material properties. We leverage this knowledge in every system we design, ensuring operators can efficiently repair and produce high-quality products.

The role of WAAM

WAAM (Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing) is at the core of RAMLAB’s development strategy, primarily because it enables the efficient repair and manufacturing of high-quality metal parts—regardless of size. Whether small, intricate components or large, heavy-duty structures, WAAM imposes no physical limitations, making it a game-changer in repair and manufacturing.

Our approach to fast implementation

We prioritize rapid delivery by enhancing off-the-shelf robotic welding systems with proprietary monitoring and control solutions rather than developing custom machines from scratch. This approach minimizes development costs while maximizing flexibility, enabling the use of various robot sizes, welding systems, manipulators, tracks, and even multi-robot collaboration. Supported by welding system integrators, RAMLAB ensures the seamless implementation of our cutting-edge repair and manufacturing systems. With a streamlined process, we deliver systems within months and complete installation within days, providing fast, adaptable, and efficient metal additive manufacturing and repair solutions.
