For large-scale 3D printing of complex parts, DEEP selected MaxQ 3D Print equipped with six synchronized Panasonic robots. This setup (internally known as the “Hexbot”) was chosen for its powerful combination of advanced software, integrated sensors, and seamless multi-robot coordination. For this setup RAMLAB developed specialized control software that enables all six robots to collaborate in real time, allowing them to print components up to 6 meters in diameter and 3 meters in height. This achievement marks a world first in collaborative robotic additive manufacturing.
